CURRENT STATUS AND SCHEDULE
The Modoc National Forest is pleased to announce the release of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for Motorized Travel Management. The DEIS examines the predicted environmental impacts associated with five alternatives that were developed in consultation with the Tribes, individuals, groups, and other governmental agencies for managing motor vehicle use on the Forest. At this time, of these five alternatives, the Modoc Forest Supervisor prefers number 2, 4 or 5.
