February 23, 2009 - The Ocala National Forest is hosting a public meeting to discuss and seek public input on their Recreational Trails Program grant application that will be submitted to the Office of Greenways & Trails, Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The grant will be used to construct new Off-Highway Vehicle trailheads with amenities, and for purchasing materials and supplies to enhance the Off-Highway Vehicle trail system in Marion, Lake, and Putnam Counties.
The public meeting about this project will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Lake George Ranger Station at 17147 E. Hwy 40, Silver Springs located 11 miles west of Silver Springs Attraction.
