| | Mountainair Ranger District to host open houses addressing Travel Management
Mar 25, 2009The Cibola National Forest is hosting open houses April 14, 15, 28 to discuss the Proposed Action for motorized travel designations on the Mountainair Ranger District.http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/cibola/travel-management/tm_mt_air/index.shtml.
Requests for hard copies of the Proposed Action can be sent to Roxanne Turley, Mountainair Ranger District Travel Management Team Leader, Cibola National Forest, 2113 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113, or requested by phone at (505) 346-3900, or by fax at (505) 346-3901. Comments on the Proposed Action received before May 1, 2009, will be used to develop alternatives to the Proposed Action for further analysis.
The Cibola National Forest is committed to involving the public in a collaborative process as it implements the Travel Management Rule. The release of the Proposed Action for the Mountainair Ranger District follows public involvement including three public meetings, meetings with Land Grant communities and other groups, and consultation with tribal and local government entities.
