Appeals must be filed within 45 days following the date the legal notice is published in the Arizona Daily Sun. This publication date is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an appeal.

In November 2005, the Forest Service published final travel management regulations governing off-highway vehicles and other motor vehicles on national forests and grasslands. The Travel Management Rule requires each national forest to designate those National Forest System roads, trails, and areas that are open to motor vehicle use. Designated routes must then be identified on a motor vehicle use map. After the routes have been designated and identified on the map, use of motor vehicles off the designated system will be prohibited.

For additional information on the Travel Management Rule, please visit the national Forest Service website.
