Sep 16, 2009The Columbine Ranger District/Field Office of the San Juan National Forest is accepting public comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Beaver Meadows-Sauls Creek Travel Management Analysis.www.fs.fed.us/r2/sanjuan/projects/projects.shtml

Comments concerning this action will be accepted for 30 calendar days following the publication of a legal notice in the Durango Herald announcing the comment period for this project. Publication is anticipated for Sept. 18, 2009; therefore the last day for accepting comments is anticipated to be Oct. 19, 2009.
Comments received in response to this solicitation, including names and addresses of those who comment, will be considered part of the public record for this proposed action and will be available for public inspection. Any person may request the agency to withhold a submission from the public record by showing how the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) permits such confidentiality.
