Getting There:

From Baker City: Take exit 302 from I-84. Turn east on SR 86 and go about 5.2 miles. Turn right (south) on Ruckles Creek Road (across from the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center) and go about 2.5 miles. The staging area will be on the left (north) side of the road.
