From US 285, take Park County Road 43 northwest about 6.6 miles to Highland Park. Turn Left (southwest) on Saddlestring Road and go about .3 miles. Turn right (southwest) on CR 997 (P-63, FR 101) and go about 2.6 miles. Turn right (west) onto the trail (FR 105).
