From Kalispel, MT: Take US 93 south about 14.4 miles from its intersection with US 2. In Lakeview, MT, turn right (west) on Bierney Creek Road and go about 0.4 miles. Turn left (south) on Graylina Road and go about 0.3 miles. Bear right (southwest) on Bower Road and go about 0.8 miles. Continue stright on Blacktail road and go about 10.3 miles. The trail starts on the left (west) side of the road.
