From Naples, FL: Take I-75 east about 20.8 miles from its interchange with CR 951 just east of Naples. Take exit 80. Turn right (south) on SR 29 and go about 13.0 miles. Turn left (east) on CR 837 (Beroon Road) and go about 2.6 miles. Turn left (north) to stay on CR 837 and go about 5 miles. Turn left (north) on CR 839 (Turner River Road) and go about 12.8 miles. Turn right (east) and go about .6 miles. The Bear Island campground is on the left (north) side of the road.
