From Oakhurst, CA: Take SR 41 north about 3.4 miles from its intersection with SR 49. Turn right (east) on Road 222 and go about 3.5 miles. Turn left (east) on Road 274 and go about 2.3 miles. Turn left (north) on Beasore Road and go about 28.6 miles. Bear left (northeast) on 05S030 and go about 6.7 miles to the Mammoth Trailhead. The trail starts on the left (north) side of the road.
